Miniso will open a third Sacramento-area retail store. Here’s where it’ll be

Popular Chinese lifestyle retailer, Miniso plans to open a store at Southgate Plaza in south Sacramento, according to its website.

The new location at 4242 Florin Road, near Franklin Boulevard, will be Miniso’s third in the Sacramento area. It will join existing stores at Arden Fair mall and the Westfield Galleria at Roseville, both of which opened in 2021.

The 7,631-square-foot space is near Southgate Plaza retailers including 99 Ranch Market, Foot Locker and Ross Dress for Less, the Sacramento Business Journal reported.

Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Guangzhou, Miniso markets itself as an Asian-themed lifestyle brand with a focus on design and affordability. Its inventory includes toys, beauty and personal care items, electronics, home goods and snacks.

It’s unclear when the store will officially open; company representatives did not respond to an inquiry from The Sacramento Bee. The company’s webpage for the location says simply “coming soon.”
