Sacramento music legend Jackie Greene wraps up 2025 Concerts in the Parks series

This year’s Concerts in the Park series wrapped up Friday with a performance at Cesar Chavez Plaza by Sacramento hometown legend Jackie Greene.

Other performers that were scheduled for Friday included the Golden Cadillacs, Furnace Woods and Joseph One.

The 32nd annual version of the concert series ran for nine weeks and featured a diverse group of local and national musicians.

Greene, a singer, songwriter and guitar and keyboards player, attended Oak Ridge High School in El Dorado Hills and started his career performing at small Sacramento venues including including Marilyn’s and Fox & Goose before gaining a national following and performing as the lead guitar player for the Black Crowes.
