Costco: Closed Friday.

King’s Supermarket: Open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday.

Food 4 Less: Open 5 a.m. to midnight Friday.

Capital City Pharmacy: Closed Friday.

CVS: Store open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday; pharmacy open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Rite Aid: Closed Friday; pharmacy closed.

Safeway: Store open 5 a.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday; pharmacy closed Friday.

Walgreens: Store open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday; pharmacy closed.

Walmart: Store open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday; pharmacy open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

UC Davis Health Pavilion: Closed Friday.

Are malls open in Sacramento area on Independence Day?

Arden Fair is open on Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Westfield Galleria at Roseville is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday.

What’s closed in Sacramento on Independence Day?

Several government offices, including post offices and public libraries, and most banks are closed for Independence Day on Friday in the Sacramento area.

Commercial package delivery companies UPS and FedEx will also observe the holiday by closing on Friday.

Most local banks, post offices, libraries, and government buildings will be closed on Friday for the holiday. FedEx and UPS will also pause service.
