A man died Thursday after his motorcycle crashed with a truck near an intersection along Sierra College Boulevard in Roseville.

The deadly vehicle crash occurred about 3:30 p.m. near Sierra College Boulevard and Haskell Way, just north of Old Auburn Road.

The man on the motorcycle died from injuries he suffered in the crash, said Sgt. Nick Gaines, a spokesperson for the Roseville Police Department.

Gaines said the department’s Multi-Disciplinary Accident Investigation Team was investigating the fatal crash and had not determined whether alcohol or drugs were a factor in the traffic collision.

The Placer County Coroner’s Office will release the name and age of the man who died after his family has been notified.
