An estimated crowd of 7,000 people gathered at the state Capitol in downtown Sacramento while as many as 3,000 people joined a rally in Roseville as part of the “No Kings” protest movement across the country on Saturday.
Many other local communities joined the demonstrations — including large events in Folsom, Davis and Elk Grove. Here’s what it looked like at the two local destinations Bee photographers were able to visit.
