Two people are in Sacramento County custody connected to a knifepoint robbery at a car show in October, said Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s officials said a 17-year-old boy drew a knife on a man at the Oct. 12 event in unincorporated Sacramento County and pressed the blade against the man’s stomach, while the second suspect, a 25-year-old man, took the person’s wallet, which contained numerous credit cards.

The two suspects drove off in a vehicle. The stolen credit cards were later traced to purchases at a fast food restaurant and a liquor store, said sheriff’s officials.

Sheriff’s robbery detectives were able to identify the two, arresting the youth on juvenile charges and the man on suspicion of robbery at separate locations Tuesday. The youth is being held in Sacramento County juvenile custody. The man is being held at Sacramento County Main Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail, said sheriff’s officials. His arraignment is set for Dec. 1 in Sacramento Superior Court.
