1 dead after truck collides with tree on Highway 193 in El Dorado County
A motorist was killed Friday morning when his pickup truck crashed into trees on Highway 193 near Cameron Park in El Dorado County, said California Highway Patrol officials.
The collision happened about 7:30 a.m. on Highway 193 near Longview Lane, south of Cameron Park and Highway 50. According to CHP dispatchers, the truck drove off of the roadway and into the trees.
Highway Patrol officers were at the scene for several hours following the fatal crash.
