Motorcyclist killed in Natomas Boulevard wreck; Sacramento police investigating

A motorcyclist was killed in a Wednesday evening crash that closed a North Natomas street for hours as police investigated the deadly wreck, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

Officers were called to the crash scene at Natomas Boulevard and North Bend Drive just before 8 p.m. The male rider was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel. His identity will be released by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office once next of kin are notified.

Major collision investigators and crime scene personnel remained at the scene Wednesday night to determine the cause of the crash. The investigation continued Thursday.
