The eastbound Highway 50 connector to northbound Interstate 5 was shut down Tuesday morning after a crash involving three tractor-trailers, the California Highway Patrol said.

The collision was reported just after 8:20 a.m. on the transition ramp, where all three semis were involved, according to CHP dispatch logs. One truck jackknifed, blocking the ramp, and another appeared wedged against a guardrail, a Sacramento Bee photo from the scene showed.

No injuries were reported. CHP dispatchers issued a SigAlert shortly after 8:40 a.m., saying there was no estimated time for reopening.
