Bradshaw Animal Shelter to host weekend adoption event at 2 Sacramento County spots
Bradshaw Animal Shelter is partnering with Tour for Life for an adoption event at two spots in Sacramento County this weekend.
Animals will be available for adoption from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 10, at Bradshaw Animal Shelter, 3838 Bradshaw Road just outside of Rancho Cordova, and at The Home Depot, 2675 E. Bidwell St., in Folsom, where the shelter’s mobile adoption unit will be located.
In a social media post, the shelter said the plan is simple: meet dogs and fall in love.
“So here’s your plan: pick a location ... or hit both. We won’t judge,” the shelter’s Facebook post said. “Meet dogs. Fall in love. Maybe go home with your new best friend. Because honestly? This feels like a really good day to adopt.”
The event will be followed by the Roy C. Marcum Animal Care Faire from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at Bradshaw Animal Shelter.
