Red Hawk Resort and Casino is adding a new gaming pavilion and a dedicated bingo venue as well as transitioning to a mostly smoke-free property.

Red Hawk Resort and Casino’s President and CEO Bryan DeLugo said the changes are aimed at creating a cleaner environment for guests and employees.

“One of the most significant outcomes of this project will be Red Hawk Resort + Casino’s transition to a smoke-free property, making Red Hawk the region’s only non-smoking casino,” DeLugo said in a statement. “The new gaming pavilion will serve as a dedicated smoking slots and table games area, allowing the main casino floor and primary guest areas to offer a significantly cleaner and healthier environment for guests and team members alike.”

The new gaming pavilion will provide a designated space for smoking guests while most of the property transitions to a smoke-free environment focused on wellness, comfort and guest satisfaction.

“We believe this move positions Red Hawk as a leader in guest experience within the regional gaming market,” DeLugo said.

The expansion also will allow select gaming operations to relocate and make room for a 4,600-square-foot bingo hall on the casino’s lower level.

Designed to accommodate up to 400 guests, the bingo venue will host bingo programming, large groups, special events and private gatherings

“The addition of a dedicated bingo venue reflects continued guest interest in expanded gaming, entertainment, and social experiences,” DeLugo said.

Construction at Red Hawk Resort and Casino, located at 1 Red Hawk Pkwy in Placerville, on the bingo hall is underway, with an opening expected in September. The new gaming pavilion is expected to open in the first quarter of 2027.
