Three cats die in Woodland house fire despite life-saving attempts

The fire department received initial reports of the fire just before 1 p.m and worked quickly to extinguish the active fire upon arrival. No one was at the home at the time, but three cats were found inside the house. Despite efforts to save the animals’ lives, including CPR and oxygen resuscitation, the cats died.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
