Sacramento police searching for at-risk woman who hasn’t been seen in week

Sacramento police are asking for the public’s help locating a 37-year-old at-risk woman who has been missing for about six days, officials said.

Geniva Andrews was last seen about 11:45 p.m. Thursday walking near the 5000 block of Village Wood Drive in the Valley Hi/North Laguna area, the Sacramento Police Department said in a Wednesday social media post.

Andrews is 5-foot-8 and 175 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt and shorts, police said.

Missing individuals can be considered at-risk if law enforcement determines that they are in danger due to specific factors about their situation or profile, according to the California Highway Patrol.
