Sacramento police searching for at-risk woman who hasn’t been seen in week
Sacramento police are asking for the public’s help locating a 37-year-old at-risk woman who has been missing for about six days, officials said.
Geniva Andrews was last seen about 11:45 p.m. Thursday walking near the 5000 block of Village Wood Drive in the Valley Hi/North Laguna area, the Sacramento Police Department said in a Wednesday social media post.
Andrews is 5-foot-8 and 175 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt and shorts, police said.
Missing individuals can be considered at-risk if law enforcement determines that they are in danger due to specific factors about their situation or profile, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 916-808-5471.
