Teen killed after utility cart crashes through fence at Woodcreek High School
A teen was killed Tuesday after crashing a utility cart through a chain-link fence at Woodcreek High School, according to the Roseville Police Department.
The crash was reported about 1 a.m. at the school on the 2500 block of Woodcreek Oaks Boulevard, police said, involving a small all-terrain utility vehicle.
Police said the teen, a Woodcreek student, attempted to drive the utility cart through a chain-link fence and was found unresponsive. Officers and firefighters attempted lifesaving measures, but the teen was pronounced dead at the scene.
Lt. Nick Gaines, a Roseville police spokesperson, confirmed the teen’s death and said the investigation was ongoing.
“This was a tragic incident for the family of the involved juvenile and the Woodcreek High School community,” Gaines said.
