Turn back clocks: Daylight savings time ends Sunday morning

This is the weekend to turn back the hands of time as daylight savings time officially ends at 2 a.m. Sunday.

Residents are reminded to turn clocks back one hour before going to bed Saturday night.

Along with the time change, fire officials urge people to replace batteries in smoke detectors to make sure they are in working order as fireplace and furnace use increases with cooler weather.

Call The Bee’s Cathy Locke, (916) 321-5287.
