Update: Rain totals in Sacramento on the meager side
A weak weather system made a brief appearance in the Sacramento region Thursday morning, delivering about one-tenth to a third of an inch of rain.
The needed precipitation made a quick exit but lingering clouds could leave a few scattered showers around the region Thursday.
High pressure is expected to rebuild, producing dry weather for the weekend in Sacramento. The next chance for a jolt of wet stuff is Wednesday.
