Temperatures to rise as high pressure moves into Sacramento

The National Weather Service is predicting a high temperature of 74 degrees for Sunday. Things will continue to heat up to 84 degrees Wednesday.
“Those values are slightly above normal,” said Travis Wilson, a meteorologist with the weather service in Sacramento. “But it’s not too far above the norm.”
The average temperature for this time of year is 77 degrees, which factors in sunny and rainy days, Wilson said. No precipitation is expected for the next week.
