The weekend is a mixed bag as the final of three small storms is expected to turn early Saturday into a windy washout before Sunday dawns warm and clear.
Thursday’s showery conditions ended with Sacramento receiving 0.23 of an inch. The next storm, mainly due to hit in the early morning hours on Saturday, is expected to drop 0.29 of an inch.
The Saturday showers are predicted to be accompanied by high winds. Batten down the lawn furniture because gusts as high as 21 mph are expected in Sacramento.
The windy conditions and rain should bring down more leaves, making street gutter flooding a possibility.
