Good morning. Here’s what you need to know today:

Storm ahead: The much talked about storm arrived Thursday morning and is delivering strong winds. Gusts at 30 mph were reported at 5 a.m. at Sacramento’s Executive Airport. Branches are scattered across roads, forcing drivers to take evasive action. But, so far, the brunt of the storm has not arrived. Rain has been slight. Look for the combination of wind and rain to combine in a big way in the early afternoon.
