Downtown convoy honors area’s vets

Sacramento’s fifth annual Veterans Day Parade, with the theme “Let’s Step it Up for Veterans,” began at Third Street and Capitol Mall and concluded with a Veterans Day ceremony at the west steps of the state Capitol.

Along 10th Street, near the ceremony, there were information booths, children’s activities, a band competition and food trucks.
