Holiday chill

Expect a mostly sunny but cold holiday in Sacramento, with a high near 49 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. It will be a white Christmas in the Sierra, with a 30 percent chance of scattered snow showers forecast for Truckee, according to the weather service.

Winter Wonderland continues at Cal Expo

Global Winter Wonderland continues at Cal Expo from 3 to 11 p.m. Christmas with the theme Magic of the Seasons. The multicultural theme park and world of light spanning 17 acres at 1600 Exposition Blvd. also features the show Circus of Light presents Acrobats on Ice.
