Wind speeds are picking up in Northern California

Wind speeds are picking up Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

Peak gusts around 7 a.m.:

Sacramento: 26 mph

Yuba City: 29

San Francisco: 27

Vacaville: 36

Fairfield: 35

Red Bluff: 44

Weather forecasters say to expect gusts of around 40 to 50 mph in the valley on Tuesday.
