Temperatures far above normal all week for Sacramento region
Strong high pressure will result in well-above normal temperatures Tuesday in the Sacramento region.
The high is expected to reach 62 degrees after a chilly morning of temperatures in the upper 30s in Sacramento. The weather this week is expected to feature unseasonably mild temperatures, along with dry weather and little Valley fog.
The National Weather Service has compiled a list that shows how much above normal the temperature will be Tuesday for selected communities:
Sacramento: 9 degrees above normal
Roseville: 6 degrees above normal
Placerville: 8 degrees above normal
Auburn: 7 degrees above normal
Kyburz: 12 degrees above normal
South Lake Tahoe: 14 degrees above normal
Blue Canyon: 17 degrees above normal
Grass Valley: 11 degrees above normal
Yuba City: 7 degrees above normal
San Francisco: 5 degrees above normal
Vallejo: 8 degrees above normal

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 62. Calm wind becoming north-northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Tuesday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 38. Calm wind.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 63. Calm wind.
