An Aerojet Superfund site community advisory group meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the American River South Room of Rancho Cordova City Hall, 2729 Prospect Park Drive. Chris Fennessy of Aerojet is scheduled to be one of the speakers.
Agriculture Day celebrated at state Capitol
California Agriculture Day is celebrated from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. near the north steps of the state Capitol, 1100 L St. The Agriculture Council of America and the National Ag Day began the program in 1973 to educate residents about the importance of agriculture. Kick Butts Day at ARC, nationwide
American River College takes part in the nationwide Kick Butts Day by drawing awareness to its new smoke, tobacco and vape-free campus environmental standard. Informational tables and anti-tobacco activities are planned on campus, 4700 College Oak Drive, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Go to www.kickbuttsday.org for more information about the event.
