Balloon into wires causes power outage in Midtown
A mylar balloon that floated into an electrical line caused a power outage in Midtown Sacramento Saturday that affected about 1,300 homes, SMUD said.
The outage occurred about 7 a.m. and power was restored about two hours later, according to the utility.
