The FBI in Sacramento is accepting applications from high school juniors for its 2015 Teen Academy aimed at showing students what it takes to work for the bureau, what federal violations the bureau investigates and how it operates within the United States and internationally.
The March 27 event is open to high school juniors who reside within 34 California counties served by the Sacramento field office.
Students selected for the academy will spend a day at the FBI’s Sacramento headquarters. Students at past academies learned about the evidence response team, bomb technicians and how the FBI serves the region.
Applications are available at www.fbi.gov. Deadline to apply is 4 p.m. Feb. 27.
