Spring showers

Wet weather is expected to return to Sacramento on Saturday. An 80 percent chance of showers is forecast for the capital city, with a high reaching near 67 degrees, according to the National Weather service. Precipitation amounts between a quarter- and half-inch are possible, the weather service reports.

Folsom celebrates 70th anniversary

Folsom’s 70th anniversary jubilee features music, food and fun from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Folsom Community Center, 52 Natoma St. Highlights of the free event include blacksmith demonstrations, vintage fire engines and other vehicles, and museum visits. Powwow cultural fest at UC Davis

The UC Davis Powwow celebrates the traditions and contributions of indigenous people and cultures. Fundraising Doggy Dash at park

The Sacramento SPCA sponsors its 23rd annual Doggy Dash and Bark at the Park Festival from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m at William Land Park, 3800 Land Park Drive, Sacramento.
