Sacramento father, toddler daughter missing for days
Two police departments are investigating the disappearance of a Sacramento man and his toddler.
Kyler Jackson, 23, of Sacramento and his daughter, Kaylee Jackson, 1, were reported missing to the Antioch Police Department in Contra Costa County. They were last seen in Antioch at 11 p.m. Sunday.
At the time, Kyler Jackson was driving a 2002, four-door, silver Ford Taurus with a California license number 4WVW944. Family members reported the two missing on Monday when the father failed to show up in Sacramento.
Police had earlier reported that Kyler was driving to Stockton, but his mother, Karla Jackson, said he was headed to Sacramento.
Since then, family members have not seen or heard from the Sacramento man or his daughter. They say that it is out of character for Kyler Jackson to not contact them.
The last spot they were seen is the 4000 block of Folsom Drive in Antioch, according to the Sacramento Police Department, whose officers are working in conjunction with Antioch police.
Sacramento police on Thursday requested a flyover of the Delta by the California Highway Patrol as part of the search for the father and daughter.
Kyler Jackson has lived at a residence in the 3500 block of San Jose Way in Sacramento. Sacramento police have made several attempts to find Jackson at his residence over the past few days to no avail.
The Coast Guard has also been enlisted in finding Jackson and his daughter, whose travels may have taken them over the Antioch Bridge into the Sacramento Delta.
Kyler Jackson is described as a black man about 6 feet 1 inch tall, 190 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
His daughter has brown hair with bows and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt.
