Breezy, warm weather on tap in Sacramento

Sacramento will feel breezy today with gusts blowing in from the north.

The high temperature is expected to hit 68 degrees, but winds will reach up to 25 mph in some areas. Eric Kurth, a National Weather Service forecaster, said the winds are being caused by a high pressure system to the north of Sacramento.

“Basically, the wind wants to flow from high pressure to low pressure making the northerly wind coming down this way,” he said.
