Deck repairs on Rio Vista Bridge
The state Department of Transportation plans to perform emergency deck repairs from 8 to 9:30 a.m. on the Rio Vista Bridge on Highway 12 between Solano and Sacramento counties. Crews will be making repairs to a bridge expansion joint. One-way traffic controls will be in effect and crews will alternate lane closures in both eastbound and westbound directions to allow one lane on the bridge to remain open during the work, according to Caltrans. Flaggers will help direct traffic. Motorists should expect delays and allow for extra travel time. Go to www.dot.ca.gov/dist4/ for more information.
