High-pressure system returns warm weather to Sacramento
High pressure is building over Northern California, signaling the return of warm and dry weather to the area.
Sacramento’s high Tuesday is expected to top out at 65 degrees with light northwest winds and sunny skies. The weather on Wednesday should be a repeat of Tuesday’s conditions.
On Thursday, a warm-up begins with an afternoon high temperature in the upper 60s forecast for Sacramento. Then, 70s are forecast for Friday and Saturday in Sacramento when the area is predicted to bask under temperatures 10 degrees above normal for mid-February.
The detailed, seven-day forecast for the Sacramento region from the National Weather Service makes no mention of precipitation:
