A week of sunny weather ahead for Sacramento
The National Weather Service is calling for sunny weather for the next seven days.
A high pressure system is firmly in place over Northern California, preventing the approach of any wet weather. Sacramento’s seasonal rainfall total stands at 11.57 inches, which is 94 percent of normal for mid-February.
So far this month, 2.28 inches of rain has been registered in Sacramento. February normally receives an average of 3.69 inches of precipitation.
Along with the dry conditions, Sacramento will continue to see abnormally warm weather for winter. By Friday, the afternoon high could reach into the 70s.
