Three men were arrested on suspicion of weapons violations after search warrants were served Tuesday at three Citrus Heights locations.
The searches were conducted as part of the Citrus Heights Police Department’s investigation into illegal weapons violations. They were assisted by Folsom Police Department SWAT officers as well as personnel from other area agencies.
The search briefly affected traffic on Auburn Boulevard between Antelope and Old Auburn roads, police said.
Arrested on suspicion of numerous weapons violations were Alphonso Harris, 55, Mohammed Javed, 29, and David Smith, 67. Smith also was arrested on suspicion of narcotics violations.
