A: Grigoriy Bukhantsov’s trial is set for April 22, according to Sacramento Superior Court online records.

Bukhantsov, 22, remains in Sacramento County Jail, where he has been held without bail since his arrest in October 2012. His trial has been delayed due to proceedings regarding his competency to stand trial.

Bukhantsov is charged with three counts of murder in the death his sister-in-law, 23-year-old Alina Bukhantsov, and her children 3-year-old Emmanuela and 2-year-old Avenir, at their Rancho Cordova home.

Bukhantsov had spent the previous night with his brother Denis and family. Denis Bukhantsov discovered the bodies of his wife and children in their DeSoto Way duplex the afternoon of Oct. 23, 2012. The couple’s youngest child, 6-monoth-old Mark, also was in the home but was not injured.
