Man accused of theft, assaulting Roseville store employee
Roseville police are asking the public's help in identifying a man accused of stealing merchandise and assaulting a store employee early Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred about 3 a.m. when a man went into a store in the 1400 block of Lead Hill Boulevard. Police said he grabbed merchandise, including a red jacket he is wearing in a surveillance photo.
When an employee tried to stop him from leaving the store, the man assaulted the employee, then left on foot, according to a Roseville Police Department news release.
Police said the man appears to be white, in his 40s with black hair and a goatee, and tattoos on his arms.
