Sacramento police are asking the community’s help in finding the roommate of a man who was fatally stabbed Monday night in the Natomas area.
Based on interviews with numerous witnesses, detectives identified 24-year-old Aaron Ramzy as the suspect in the assault, which was reported about 10:55 p.m., according to a Police Department news release.
Police said they were called to the 3300 block of Arena Boulevard, where they found the victim in critical condition. The stabbing victim, a man in his 20s, was rushed to the hospital but later was pronounced dead.
The alleged assailant was quickly identified as the victim’s roommate, who fled from the area before officers arrived, police said.

Ramzy is described as about 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 159 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red, black and white knit cap, and a black and red flannel shirt. Police said he may have left the scene riding a red Schwinn bicycle.
Police cautioned that Ramzy is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to immediately call local law enforcement authorities
The investigation is continuing and police said the motive for the stabbing has not been determined.
