UPDATE: One person killed, another injured when vehicle hits pole in South Natomas
Sacramento police report that one person died and another was taken to a local hospital with serious Tuesday evening following a single-vehicle crash on West El Camino Avenue east of Truxel Road.
Police spokesman Office Justin Brown said the crash occurred just after 8 p.m. when a vehicle struck a pole near Seamist Drive. He said no details were available.
Police advised motorists in the area to expect delays.
