Rocklin police investigating weekend crime spree

Rocklin police are investigating a spree of 15 related property crimes that occurred Saturday night and Sunday morning.

The Rocklin Police Department reported the suspects broke into three homes, stole two automobiles and spray painted several cars, buildings and homes. At least two bicycles were stolen from the homes, police said.

The crimes occurred between 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. Sunday on the 3300 block of Parkside Drive, the 5100 block of Fifth Street and the 6200 block of Camellia Circle, according to police.

Police said one of the stolen vehicles was later recovered. Another vehicle – a gray 2008 Acura RDX sport utility vehicle – had not been found as of Sunday night.
