Submachine gun, 500 pills confiscated during stop of car in Stockton

Stockton police on Saturday confiscated two handguns and a submachine gun, along with some narcotics, during a stop of a car.

The stop of the car at Anderson Street and Airport Way resulted in police finding a loaded Glock 40-caliber handgun, a Mac-10 submachine gun and a 9 mm pistol. After obtaining a search warrant, ammunition and body armor were confiscated.

In addition, 500 narcotic pills were found, officers said. Cornell Seward, 26, was arrested on suspicion of violating weapons and traffic charges and Jesse Corral, 22, was arrested on suspicion of violating weapons and narcotics charges.
