The person who shot and killed a 26-year-old Sacramento man at an Arden Arcade apartment complex last week may have been whisked from the scene by a driver in a dark-colored sedan, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department said.
Detectives are asking the public to help them identify the vehicle’s driver and the man picked up from the scene.
Residents of the 2200 block of Edison Avenue, where the shooting occurred, told investigators that Robert Leeroy Klose and at least one other person were arguing in an apartment complex parking lot before shots were fired, said Sgt. Lisa Bowman, sheriff’s spokeswoman.
Klose, 26, of Sacramento, was found dead at the apartment complex just before midnight on Feb. 28.
Klose, who was examined by medical personnel at the scene, suffered at least one gunshot wound to the torso.
