Elk Grove police say that a missing 12-year-old boy, who had left a friend’s house Thursday night and had not been seen since, has been located.

William Mann was considered at risk because of his young age, police said. The boy ran away from his home around 3:10 p.m. Thursday and was believed to be with a friend, however the friend’s name was not known.

Officers searching for William learned that he had left a friend’s house in the 9000 block of Camden Lake Way around 6:30 p.m. Thursday with a skateboard. His destination was not known.

He was found by a citizen at Power Inn and Gerber roads.
