A Nevada County man has been arrested in connection with a burglary in which an intruder was photographed by a home security camera.

Brett Bartlett, 54, was arrested at his residence in Lake Wildwood on Tuesday, according to the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office. He was booked at Wayne Brown Correctional Facility in Nevada City on suspicion of second-degree burglary. His bail was set at $50,000.

Sheriff’s officials thanked the community for assistance in identifying the suspect.

The department last week released a photo, snapped by the home security camera in late February, that shows a man with a flashlight skulking through the living room of a home in the Lake Wildwood area.
