Threats to kill Rocklin police lead to arrest

A Roseville man was booked into Placer County jail Saturday for allegedly threatening to kill police officers.

Rocklin police say that they received telephone calls from a man threatening to kill their officers. The caller stated that he had a loaded gun and was going to Rocklin police headquarters to shoot up the place, according to a police Facebook post.

Police identified the caller as Tyler Hart, 26, of Roseville. The caller then began calling Roseville police, threatening Rocklin officers again.

The two departments coordinated efforts and Hart was taken into custody in the area of Cedar and Main streets in Roseville.
