An argument over nude photographs ended Saturday in Dos Palos with a 34-year-old man in a hospital after his wife allegedly stabbed him in the neck with a kitchen knife, the Police Department told the Sun-Star.

Jasmine M. Teltow, 21, was booked into the John Latorraca Correctional Facility on suspicion of attempted murder, Police Chief Barry Mann said. Mann said investigators plan to seek additional charges against Teltow, including domestic violence.

Police said Teltow and her husband began arguing late Saturday over nude photos of an unidentified woman on a cellphone. Police said the argument escalated and Teltow allegedly stabbed her husband at least once in the neck with the kitchen knife, which officers seized for evidence. His injuries were not life-threatening, police said.

The husband was taken to a regional hospital, where he was treated and released, according to police.

The couple’s children, ages 1 and 4, were turned over to Child Protective Services.

Teltow remained in custody Sunday afternoon on $500,000 bail, according to booking records.
