Warm conditions in Sacramento this week

A week of warm, rain-less weather is forecast before spring officially arrives Friday in Sacramento.

The Sacramento region has been bathed in spring-like weather for weeks and today’s conditions will be more of the same: 73 degrees under partly sunny skies.

The normal high for March 16 is 67 degrees. The all-time high temperature for the date occurred in 2004 when the mercury hit 86 degrees.

So far, only 0.16 inches of rain has fallen in Sacramento in March. With 11.73 inches of rain, Sacramento has received 72 percent of normal for the season.
