A 16-year-old Carmichael boy was booked into juvenile hall for a series of actions that began in a park and allegedly ended with an apartment break-in.
Deputies were told Monday night that the teen made inappropriate comments to a Carmichael resident at a park. The resident retreated to a residential complex on Mary Lynn Lane, only to be followed by the teen.
Deputies believe that he climbed over a porch enclosure and entered the residence through an unlocked sliding glass door.
The Carmichael resident then took children from the residence and waited outside for the arrival of deputies. When deputies searched the area they located the teen walking in a nearby neighborhood.
