Amber Alert issued for missing 1-year-old boy

An Amber Alert has been issued Friday afternoon for an abducted 1-year-old boy in San Francisco, the California Highway Patrol reports.

On May 12, Makai Bangoura was abducted. He is a 3 feet tall, weighing 40 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. The suspect is Jason Lam, 30, who is 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 145 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Lam may be suicidal and should not be approached without law enforcement coordination, according to the CHP.

Lam was last seen driving a 2000 tan Toyota Corolla, license plate No. 5SEY238. If seen, call 911, the CHP advises.
