Pedestrian killed on downtown freeway identified
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has identified a pedestrian hit and killed on a downtown freeway as Barry Garofolo.
Garofolo was 48 years old, but the coroner’s website did not have a place of residence for him.
Garofolo was hit by a vehicle at 11:45 p.m. Thursday. The Coroner’s Office listed the site of the crash as northbound Interstate 5 at J Street.
