Man with schizophrenia reported missing in Citrus Heights
Citrus Heights police are asking the public’s help in finding a 53-year-old man who is developmentally disabled and takes medication for schizophrenia.
Michael Doyle was last seen by his brother about 1 a.m. Wednesday in the area of Highland Avenue and Sunrise Boulevard. Doyle has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old and did not have food, money or his medication with him when he disappeared, according to a Police Department news release.
Doyle is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing gray pants and a red or black shirt, and likely was carrying a light-colored blanket, the news release said.
Anyone with information regarding Doyle’s whereabouts is asked to call the Citrus Heights Police Department’s dispatch center at 916-727-5500.
