Man missing from Elk Grove found safe in Bakersfield

A man last seen Wednesday in Elk Grove has been found safe Saturday in Bakersfield, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department reports.

A Silver Alert was issued Thursday for Earnest Easterling, 76, who was with family at about 6 p.m. Wednesday. He left in a dark gray Acura MDX.

Easterling has a medical condition that causes him to easily become disoriented. He will be reunited with his family soon, according to a department news release.
